Poll Results and New Eclipse DVD Poll

Now that the Eclipse DVD is available, it's time for another Twilight Family poll.

Thanks to everyone who voted in our previous sidebar, "Which Twilight character would you like to be for Halloween?" Out of a total 16 votes, the votes were spread fairly evenly among the main characters from Eclipse:

- Bella received 2 votes
- Edward received 1 vote
- Jacob received 3 votes
- Renesmee received 1 vote
- Victoria received 3 votes
- Jane received 0 votes
- the Cullen family members received 3 votes
- the Wolf Pack members received 2 votes
- the Volturi received 0 votes
- the Nomadic or Clan vampires received 1 vote

So, Jacob received more votes than Edward, and tied with Victoria and the Cullen family members for more popular characters for Halloween. The Volturi didn't receive any votes this Halloween. Interesting. I wonder how much we're influenced by the Eclipse movie, and if we'd vote differently after watching Breaking Dawn!

Bella's Theme (from Twilight) won with 5 votes (out of 11 total votes)
Jacob's Theme (from Eclipse) came in 2nd with 3 votes
The Meadow (from New Moon) came in 3rd with 2 votes
My Love (from Eclipse) came in 4th with 1 vote.

I'm looking forward to hearing the soundtrack (and love theme) for Breaking Dawn. I hope it comes out soon!

Now on to our new sidebar poll, "Which Twilight character would you like to be for Halloween?" My choice would be to dress up as Rosalie in a wedding gown and red contact lens, but I think it would be too scary for my kids!

It looks like Eclipse has been doing pretty well at the Box Office. I'm still looking forward to seeing Eclipse in IMAX with Twi-K.

According to the Los Angeles Times (July 11, 2010), "Eclipse is playing virtually even with the last Twilight movie, New Moon ... Eclipse grossed a huge $237 million in its first 12 days, compared with $235.8 million for New Moon."

It'll be interesting to see how well the Eclipse DVD sells, too, when it becomes available.
