I just found out that Nikki Reed (who plays Rosalie) will appear today on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Rob Pattinson will be on Ellen's show tomorrow, so don't forget to watch (or record) both shows!

Also, a belated happy 22nd birthday to Nikki Reed! Her birthday was yesterday (May 17th).

My Impressions of Oprah's Eclipse Interview

I just watched Oprah's show where she interviewed Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Dakota Fanning.

First, I have to say I really enjoyed watching the stars interact and joke around with each other. Also, they don't seem to have let stardom go to their heads, which is really nice to see.

I was especially impressed that Rob and Taylor were willing to visit fans in their homes and chat with them. They are so gracious and generous with their fans! Kristen was also sweet to her fan who came up onstage to meet her.

I was surprised that Oprah didn't make a big deal of Rob's birthday. But then I realized it's because she taped her show a few days beforehand, so it wasn't really his birthday yet.

And lastly, it was very cool to see so many new shots of Eclipse (new to me, at least). I'm so excited about seeing the movie!

47 days and counting to the release of Eclipse!

Upcoming appearances on Oprah

In case you didn't watch Oprah's show yesterday, Oprah mentioned that Dakota Fanning will be back on her show on Thursday, May 13th, along with Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Rob Pattinson.

By the way, May 13th is also Rob's birthday! Do you think Oprah is planning to give Rob a birthday present on her show? Don't forget to watch and find out!

Clean or Scruffy?

Cosmo has a great article on what you like better Clean shaven or a little scruffy? Regarding Rob, for me there is no comparison. SCRUFFY! Although the picture they are using is a good scruffy. There are some pictures out there with Rob that are really scruffy. What do you like better?

A Bigger Edward?

According to Clevver TV, It looks like producers asked Rob to bulk up for Breaking Dawn. I thought he looked good in New Moon. Do they want him bigger? Do they want him competing with Jacob?

Rob & Kristen Together Again!?!

So I found some interesting info! It looks like Rob and Kristen was spotted leaving the Budapest Airport Sunday Night (4-11) Together. Why am I so excited? Do you want them together? Please comment below.

"Remember Me" Movie Review

I'll start with the positives. I was impressed with Rob Pattinson's solid performance as Tyler, the rebellious young hero. I didn't see any sign of Edward the vampire in this performance, although the main reason I went to see this movie was because of Rob. I was also impressed by Emilie de Ravin's performance as Ally. The two romantic leads were nicely matched, and they showed a natural chemistry together. I thought the supporting characters were well-acted, too.

Now that I've had a day to think about this movie, and to get past my strong initial reaction to it, I'd have to say that I don't recommend seeing it in the theater. (Sorry, Rob and Twilight fans.) If you'd like to read more of my review, there will be spoilers ahead, but I'll try to keep them to a minimum, which is hard to do, because of the movie's ending.

Rob Pattinson to join Madame Tussauds

From the Madame Tussauds of London's Web site:

"We expect to spark fan frenzy today as we’ve just confirmed the next actor to be admitted into our attraction is the hottest celebrity of the moment, Brit born A-lister and star of the phenomenally successful Twilight saga, Robert Pattinson. The wax figure of the British heartthrob will be revealed in March, ahead of the release of his latest film, Remember Me, in early April.

The studios team are busy recreating R-Pattz’s trademark sultry expression and messy hair, whilst the figure’s outfit will reflect his rugged style with an open collared shirt and skinny trousers. The figure making process takes four months of intense work to complete at a cost of £150,000."

Kinda creepy? But I'd definitely go see it the next time I'm in London!

My Impressions of Rob's recent TV appearances

Late Night
Jimmy Fallon's impression of Rob on his "Late Night" show ("Robert is Bothered") was really funny! Rob was a really good sport about it. And yes, I would buy a copy of Rob's first music album, if he ever made one!

The View
What was with Barbara Walters on "The View" with her "fangs" references? Hasn't she read the books or seen the movies? Twilight vampires don't have fangs! Do your homework, Barbara! At least she made up for her faux pas by comparing Rob's performance to James Dean.

And Rob, in turn, compared the script of "Remember Me" to Oscar-winning movies like "Ordinary People" and "Terms of Endearment." Wow, I sure hope his upcoming movie lives up to all that!

And poor Emilie de Ravin (Rob's co-star in "Remember Me.") Their focus was almost entirely on Rob. No that I'm a fan of Emilie's, but she must've really felt left out. Not cool, "View" ladies.

The Daily Show
My hubby watches this show every day, so it was very cool to see Rob on one of his favorite shows. And yes, Jon, you are even "cooler" because you had Rob on as a guest!

Rob's Interview on the Today Show

I watched Rob's brief interview on the Today show. There wasn't much to the interview itself, but I was very impressed by how friendly and polite he was with his fans. I agree with Pierce Brosnan (who plays his father in "Remember Me") that Rob really does appear to show "enormous grace under pressure." He looked nice, too! :-)

I plan to see "Remember Me" and the Eclipse trailer next Friday, March 12th. Check back here to read my movie review next weekend!

And don't forget to check out Twi-K's post "Dates to Remember" for more upcoming appearances.

The Role That Got Away

According to Twilight Lexicon ..... During an interview with HIT FIX RP (Robert Pattinson) was asked about roles that he either regretted not taking, or roles that he wanted and didn’t land.
He answered, “I remember reading the script and thinking it was the best script ever. I just couldn’t do it. And I was so pissed off afterwards. I was gonna go into the audition, but I was just, like, I can’t do it,” Then he stated, “will always be one of my biggest regrets.” That movie was "There Will Be Blood". Very Interesting!
