Eclipse DVD Choices

I'm so excited! The Eclipse DVD will be available tomorrow at midnight!

Twi-K and I have been looking for Eclipse DVD release parties, so I called around a few local stores:

* One local Walmart is offering a Midnight Release of Eclipse, along with a free Eclipse lanyard. They're also planning to show the movie starting at midnight. Check with your local Walmart stores to see what they are offering.

* A few local Best Buy stores are offering a Midnight Release of Eclipse. They are also selling Bella's charm bracelet, with a heart charm and a wolf charm, for $9.99 (or $5.99 if you pre-ordered it online.)

* A few local Blockbuster stores are offering a Midnight Release of Eclipse. They will also have a bunch of Twilight/Eclipse-related merchandise that you can buy along with your video.

* Our local Borders and Target are not offering a Midnight Release of Eclipse, but they will have the video available as soon as their stores open on Saturday morning.

* If you prefer to order your DVD online, Amazon.com is offering Eclipse in several different format, but you'll have to wait a few days for the movie to arrive at your door.

As far as I can tell, most of the stores are offering similar extra features, including:

- Deleted & Extended Scenes
- Audio Commentary with Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart
- Audio Commentary with Stephenie Meyer & Wyck Godfrey
- Photo Gallery
- Six-Part "Making of" Documentary
- Music Videos
- Edward Fast-Forward: Jump to all your favorite Edward scenes
- Jacob Fast-Forward: Jump to all your favorite Jacob scenes

All I Want For Christmas!

Happy Birthday Peter & ME!

Today I share my birthday with Carlisle! Peter is turning 37. In Twilight he plays 367 years old.

At a my first Twilight Convention I got see speak with both Peter and Billy and we even talked about our Birthdays. So cool!

Happy Birthday Billy!

Today is Billy Burke's Birthday! Billy of course plays Belle's Dad Charlie Swan. He turns 44 today even thought in Twilight he plays 3 years older.

Tomorrow there is a very special birthday!!! Wait until you see.

Breaking Dawn Filming

In my last post I talked about all the clips on the Internet of the DVD Eclipse clips. What about the filming of Breaking Dawn? There is a lot of clips and photos out there. I have some friends that do not want to see or know anything about it. I of course want to see it all and know it all.

Some of you know my story of when I was reading New Moon and I had to call my friend to find out if Bella was going to pick Jacob instead of Edward (I was going to stop reading the series if she was) So you know I can't stand it.

There has been a lot of clips of extras flying around the Internet. Are you watching them? I am! I can not wait, so I will watch what ever I find. So far I have not seen anything that exciting. But I am constantly looking.

Muse wins at the AMA's

Muse won Best Alternative Rock Artists at the American Music Awards. I think Twilight Fans had a little to do with that, don't you think!

Eclipse DVD Release Party!

Eclipse DVD will be Released December 4th! It's time for another PARTY! We are going to have to think of some new party ideas. For now, check out our previous posts regarding party ideas. On the right side of our site under Labels. Look for release party. If you had or are having a party tell us your ideas.

Twilight Takeoff?

Coming this March is a movie called Red Riding Hood. To me it is looking a lot like Twilight. It could have something to do with it being directed by none other then Catherine Hardwicke.

The story is about 1 girl, 2 guys, 1 of which is a werewolf. Sound familiar? The music and the movie poster even looks like twilight. There is even someone that stared in Twilight in this movie. I may have to pass on this one.

Eclipse Parody by The Hillywood Show!

It's finally here! The Hillywood Show posted their Eclipse Parody on YouTube.

The parody is 13 minutes long, which is a nice amount of time to really get into it and enjoy the pure genius of The Hillywood Show. Great job, guys!

And for those of us Twi-hards who follow everything Twilight, there are lots of fun in-jokes. I especially loved the gorgeous costumes, the sound effects during the fight practice scenes, the singing wolf pack, and the feathers. :-)

There's a bit of suggestive stuff in here, too, so you might want to watch this video once before showing it to your under-13 kids. Overall, I think this video is AWESOME!

Who is Mackenzie Foy?

Mackenzie Foy is the lucky little girl who will play Renesmee Cullen in the movie, Breaking Dawn: Part 2.



Mackenzie just turned 10 years old on October 10th, 2010 (or on 10/10/10!) She has brown hair and blue-green eyes, so she'll have to wear brown contact lenses to match Renesmee's chocolate brown eye color.

Mackenzie has a background in modeling and acting in commercials and TV (most currently on Hawaii Five-O.) Breaking Dawn will be Mackenzie's first major movie role.

It looks like Mackenzie is both beautiful and talented, and a great choice to play the half-human, half-vampire daughter of Bella and Edward. Congratulations, Mackenzie!

Jane Barbie doll coming soon!

According to The Twilight Saga Facebook page, the Barbie doll version of Jane is going to be available next February 2011! Here's what she'll look like:

Personally, I think this Jane doll is stunning. I love her elegant outfit, and it's nice to see a more serious expression on a Barbie doll, but she doesn't look like a young girl at all! She looks more like a grown-up Deborah Kerr (a famously beautiful actress from the classic era of Hollywood.)



Amazon.com is already accepting pre-orders for Jane for $24.99, and will release her on March 1st, 2011.

Of course, we'll buy Jane as soon as she hits the stores! (We plan to buy the entire Twilight collection of Barbie dolls as they become available.)
